The Sonia O’Sullivan Cobh 10 mile Road race 2019 took place at Cobh, Co. Cork, last Sunday 07th April, hosted by Ballymore Cobh AC. Our club two athletes taking part. Andrew Downey preforming well to finish in1:09.06 followed by Eileen O’Connell putting in a fine run, finishing in 1:24.55. well to both athletes. Race Winners: Sean Tobin, Clonmel AC in 48.34 and Michelle Finn, Leevale AC in 57.26
Butlerstown 4 Mile Road Race (1900hrs Friday 12April 2019)
The Annual Butlerstown 4 Mile Road Race took place at Butlerstown GAA Club last Friday 12thApril.This was just over two 2 mile loops finishing on the Butlerstown GAA grounds, Our Club had averystrong representation in this event with Eugene O’Keeffe our first finisher in 25.15 followed with fine running from the following, Eileen O Connell in 29.53, Deirdre Power in 31.03, Sinéad Dunne in 33.07, Derek O’Dwyer in 33.30, Jimmy Power in 34.19, Ger Houlihan in 36.07 and Sean Dunne in 37.00. Well done to all. Race Winners: Trevor Power, Waterford AC 21.06 and Siobhan O’Doherty, Borrisokane AC 23.07
