Sanofi 5 Mile for MS (1100hrs Sunday 11 November 2018)
Last Sunday the 11th of November the Sanofi 5 mile for MS road race took place at Waterford with all proceed going to the Waterford Branch of MS (Multiple Sclerosis). The race had a field of over 200 runners taking part. The overall winners were Andrew Connick, Ferrybank AC in 25.51 and Ruth Fitzgerald, Waterford AC in 28.48. Our club had eight members taking part and all running well, the following were John Carroll in 33.46, Tina Walsh in 39.30, Deirdre Power in 39.44, Margaret Power in 41.38, Bernie Sexton in 43.44, Derek O’Dwyer in 44.06, Geraldine Houlihan in 47.02 and Sinead Dunne in 47.45 well done to all for running and supporting this worthy cause
