Cork Athletics Graded Leagues 2018 night 2 of 4 (1915Hrs Thursday 31 May 2018)
Patrick Roche runs 3000 at Cork Athletics Graded League. Night 2 of the Cork Athletics Graded League 2018 took place last Thursday night 31st May at Cork Institute of Technology with races in 200, 800 and 3000 metre, Patrick took part in the 3000-metre race to finish 6th out of field of 13, his time 10:04.5. Race was won by Barry O’Donovan, Leevale AC time 09:01.88.
Deadman’s 5 Mile Road Race (1930Hrs Friday 01 June 2018)
The Deadman’s 5-mile Road Race, number three of the Outfield Sports 3 Counties Challenge 2018 took place at Carrick on Suir on Friday 1st June. We would like to thank the following: Race Sponsor, Haven Pharmacy Lannen’s, Carrick on Suir, Patrick Lannen of Haven Pharmacy, not only sponsored this race but also competed, finishing in 49th place 35:12 representing his club, West Waterford AC. Cork City Half Marathon 2018 (1015Hrs Sunday 03 June 2018)
PB’s for two Carrick on Suir AC runners at Cork City half Marathon. The Cork City Half Marathon 2018 got under way at 10:15pm on Sunday 3rd of June, the club was represented by athletes who took on a course with a share of drags along the way,on a very warm day,first to cross the line for the club was Jeffery Brophy with a great PB time of 1:26:29 followed with Excellent running by Eoghan Coughlan with a PB time of 1:30:56.Great performance in such warm conditions and well done to all.
2018 VHI Women’s Mini Marathon (1400Hrs Sunday 03June 2018)
Ber Glascott runs Women’s mini marathon The VHI Women’s Mini Marathon 2018 went ahead in very warm condition last Sunday 3rd June.Race was won by Lizzie Lee, Leevale AC in 34.18 Our sole representative in the 10k women’s race, Ber Glascott ran very well in these conditions to finish in a approximate time 1:01.35 (official time available in Herald after event).
