Andrew Downey runs at Poulmucka 8K, the Poulmucka 8k road race went ahead last Friday 18th of May,Race winners were William Stephens, Coolquill AC in 26.05 and Madeline Loughnane, Thurles Crokes AC in 30.16, Andrew Downey put in a fine run to finish in 14thplace, his time 31.30
Stoneyford 10K Challenge (1130hrs Sunday 20 May 2018)
John Carroll Leads the way for Carrick on Suir AC at Stoneyford 10k, The Stoneyford 10K Challenge 2018 got under way last Sunday 20th of May, Race winner were Trevor Power Waterford AC in 33.10 and Adele Walsh, St Senans AC in 38.34, we had 3 runners taking on the challenge of the hilly course, Our 1st runner John Carroll ran well finish in 25th time 41.29 followed closely by Miguel Ponce De Leon who finished in 26th time 41.42 and Seamus Ward ran well and finished in 32nd time 42.09. Well done to all our athletes
